What does RTP mean?

RTP means ‘return to player’. Let’s say a game has an RTP of 96%, that means that calculated over millions of spins, 96% of the money that is put in to the slot is won back by the players, and 4% goes to the casino. Because it is calculated over millions of spins it doesn’t mean you can’t have several big wins in a session, but it also doesn’t mean that you aren’t destined to have a big win when you’re on a losing streak.

What is wager?

Wager is the amount of money you have to put into the casino in order to make bonus money egible to cash out. Normally you will have to wager 35 to 50 times the bonus money. So if you have deposited €20 with a 200% bonus with a 35x wager, this means that you have to play 40 * 35 = €1400 worth of spins.

Depending on the bonus, you either play with a combined balance of your own deposit and the bonus money (also called a no-sticky bonus), or your deposit only where you have to ‘unlock’ the bonus by finishing the wager.

How does a No-Sticky bonus work?

When you have a no-sticky bonus, the balance on your account is your deposit and the bonus amount combined. When you start playing, you play with your own deposit first.

If you’ve deposited €50 with a 100% bonus, you’ll have €100 to play with. When your balance goes below €50, you start to play with the bonus money and that’s when the wagering starts. If you have not touched the bonus balance but have had a big win, you can withdraw, but it means you’ll have to forfeit your bonus money. So you will cash out the balance minus the bonus amount.

Always look for no-sticky bonuses when looking for a new casino to play on.

Why should I read the terms and conditions of a casino?

When you’re playing on a casino, they might have certain rules that you might not know about. If you breach the terms, you might not be able to withdraw or even lose your money. These terms can concern the following things:
– Withdraw limits
– Bet limits on bonus money
– Slots you aren’t allowed to play on with bonus money
– Playing (live) table games with bonus money
